# Convert WebP to GIF

To convert WebP to GIF, run `npx optimo image.webp --format gif`. GIF can be required for legacy destinations and some chat platforms. Optimo handles format conversion and optimization in a single step.

## Command

Convert a file by targeting the output format:

```
npx optimo image.webp --format gif
```

Tip: add `--dry-run` to preview changes.
